APPOINTMENT
The Board of Henderson Morley plc, the Aim quoted biotechnology company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Anant Sharma to the Company's Scientific Advisory Board. Professor Sharma is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon at the Moorfields Eye Hospital (Bedford), and is Visiting Professor at Cranfield University.
With over 40 publications, predominantly in the field of corneal surgery and disease, Professor Sharma is a member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Research and Development Working Party and has been involved with a number of clinical development projects for many aspects of ocular disease.
It is anticipated that Professor Sharma will play an active role in the continued development of the ophthalmic indications of ICVT and act as an advisor to the Company on aspects of ophthalmic clinical trials and product development.
Commenting, Henderson Morley's Chairman Andrew Knight said "I am very pleased to welcome Professor Sharma as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board, his knowledge and experience has already proven to be very valuable to our planned continued development of the ICVT ophthalmic product."
