Armour Group plc is a consumer electronics group focused on the in-car communication and entertainment, and home entertainment markets. The Company comprises two divisions: Armour Automotive and Armour Home Electronics. Its automotive brands include Autoleads, Mutant, Veba, RMaudio, Kicker and CTI. The product-based business of the Armour Home Electronics division (Veda, QED, Goldring, Myryad) designs, manufactures, distributes and sells products into the home theater and home entertainment market, and accounted for 84% of the division's sales during the fiscal year ended August 31, 2005 (fiscal 2005). The service-based business (IMI and Hi-End) provides specialist custom design and installation services to home builders, architects and home owners in the home automation market. In September 2004, the Company acquired The Hi-End Limited, and in November 2004, it acquired Myryad Systems Limited. |
